Central Library
Netaji Mahavidyalaya Central Library was started along with the establishment of the College in 1948 in order to cater the academic and research needs of the college family, comprising of faculty members, research scholars, students, and non-teaching staff members. Since then, the College Library has been evolved to live up to the expectations of its immediate clientele. It is one of the well-equipped libraries in this zone. The College is proud of its library system, which comprises of the Central Library and 23 Departmental Libraries. The central library can provide most of the facilities needed to quench the thirst of knowledge enhancement, to all the associated people. The college is grateful to those scholars and educationists of Arambagh locality and Bankura district who have contributed enormously to enrich the library variously. We are also thankful to UGC for the library for the grant that they have sanctioned for the growth of this library.

Our Philosophy
The Central Library of Netaji Mahavidyalaya, Inspiring the students to become ideal citizens of the nation by making them aware of there glorious cultural heritage and the rights from and duties to society. Offering scope for higher education to people of all walks of the society irrespective of class, cast creed , sex etc. We believe that a students is naturally curious and capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared library environment.

Our Vision at Central Library is to develop the unique abilities and potential of each student by offering an enriched educational materials. Ensuring simultaneous development of infrastructures and quality in the spheres of teaching-learning, research and extension, other activities of the college

We are determined in our approach to learning, creative and nurturing such qualities as free thinking innovativeness, discipline, fellow feeling, secular attitude, the sense of national integration etc. Integration the institution with the society by inculcating a sense of independence of two. Building the institution as an ideal seat of learning and culture in the seat as well as in the country in future.
